The Clements Brothers

The Clements Brothers are George (guitar) and Charles (upright bass), identical twins from the heart of New England. The two have been playing and writing music together for as long as they can remember, first entering the Americana music scene in 2012 as part of the internationally touring grass-roots band, ‘The Lonely Heartstring Band,’ with whom they put out two albums on Rounder Records. Most recently, George could be found playing the role of Paul Simon in the hit national act ‘The Simon and Garfunkel Story’ while Charles could often be found on stage with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Now, ‘The Clements Brothers’ marks their first original project together, focused on capturing their singer-songwriter sensibilities in a unique blend, with harmonies only achievable by their identical voices, at once enthralling and intimate, groovy and serene.

with Carolyn Kendrick

Carolyn Kendrick is a California-based singer-songwriter, fiddler, guitarist, and producer. Most of the time she lives as a musician must: hitting the open road, gigging, and playing the fiddle late into starry nights. Musically and spiritually situated somewhere between Willie, Billie, and Gillian, Kendrick has blossomed as a solo artist, boldly venturing beyond her role as an eclectic instrumentalist. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Kendrick crisscrossed the country with her former duo project The Page Turners. She has also shared the stage with beloved artists such as Bruce Molsky, Margo Price, Aoife O’Donovan, and Darol Anger, all while playing the festival circuit and winning awards. (Newport Folk Festival, Greyfox Bluegrass Festival, Savannah Music Festival; Freshgrass ‘Best Duo’ Award, The Fletcher Bright Award, Composer In Residence: University of the Pacific.) Heralded as “hauntingly lovely” (Paste Magazine), you won’t want to miss a Carolyn Kendrick live performance.

Since issuing her debut EP Tear Things Apart in 2020, Carolyn has honed in on a bittersweet, Americana-flavored sensibility. In addition to her songwriting career, Carolyn is active in the Bluegrass and Old-Time fiddle scene and has produced and written music for the award-winning podcasts You’re Wrong About (Podcast of the Year, iHeart Radio) and You Are Good. In 2021 she issued a collection of musical vignettes culled from her You Are Good compositions. Her debut full-length album will be released in 202.
